Why don't more people play Braum?

I may be bias because I'm sorta a Braum main, but if you play him correctly, the Man with the Stache can be VERY useful to a team.

He has great damage and CC that can be used both in lane and in teamfights. He can also save everyones' freakin lives because of his ability to reposition quickly and block incoming damage. The balance of offense and defense is amazing.

Braum's gameplay is great, but his personality is the best in the game! No dark backstory or epic struggle, he's just here to feed Poros and block bullets. Seriously, whenever I play Braum, I just feel so jolly and shit.

This guy is a very good champion in general, but most people don't put him in the tier of Leona, Thresh, and Nautilus. I feel like Braum is good enough to be up there though. So, you need a great support champion, you should pick up the Man with the Stache. You won't regret it.

Beyond his Q (and subsequent passive), Braum suffers from the initiate/defend paradigm where he feels much more "defend". People don't put him in the upper tiers because he doesn't necessarily bring the same amount of initiate and control in the fight that Thresh, Leo, Naut, etc. bring. As a counter-initiater or defender of projectiles, he's great though. I remember one game against an MF/Nami - blocking those ults felt FABULOUS.

He is completly dependent on his ADC to follow up with every move he makes to actually do something, he can't escape if he is left alone and will basically be free kills for the enemy. He has no pushing potential, and if he can't land his Q he isn't really effective. Making him a HORRIBLE pick for solo q unless you can get your adc to skype call you in 60 seconds. He is great, but he needs good communication to win lane. So pick him up for ranked team fights.
