Can't we clarify the term Support?
There repeatedly are issues in various discussions, because the term is used interchangably with two different meanings:
- A champion that sacrifices some of their own power to help their teammates.
- A champion in a duo lane that helps the other to become stronger.
While usually the former is particulary suited to be the later, that doesn't mean they are the same. Almost any other champ could take that position in a duo lane and the Support Champ doesn't have to be in the duo lane either, some actually scale really well.
Can't we make an effort to change the term?
A Support usually does something for you that you can't do yourself. Someone that helps you do your job is usually called an Assitantant.
So I'd like to keep Support for the Champ and Assistant or Assist for the Role.
