Why couldn't it be Dawnbringer Urgot and Duskbringer Nunu or something instead of my two least favorite champions?

Picking sides right now is like picking between broccoli or cucumbers (both of which I hate, by the way.)

What they have is next to nothing compared to; Azir/Xerath. Renekton/Nasus. Ashe/Lissandra/Sejuani. Gangplank/MF. Garen/Darius. Galio/Sion. Singed/Every Ionian affiliated to Irelia. Aurelion Sol/Targon. Leona/Diana. Caitlyn and Vi/Jinx. Jayce/Viktor. Swain/Jarvan IV.

Hell, lorewise Yasuo and Riven never even met as far as we know. Only thing that 'ties them together' is that Yasuo knows his master's been killed by a special wind technique, and that Riven uses wind. While yes, this matchup has been hinted at through dialogue, we still don't have the actual story. For all we know, Janna could have murdered the old man.

Plus, coming down to it, these are skins. Their rivalry in this context is about as valid as a Zac/Amumu rivalry themed around Science vs Magic.

Riot picked these because the champions are popular with players. You won't see this kind of event with Annie, Nunu or Rammus in it.

They probably considered it but went for something else. The Targon lore event isn't that far away, and everyone knows and expects their rivalry. I'm happy they didn't, maybe we can still get Solari Diana and Lunari Leona skins!

Technically, they both currently have no lore aside from the fact that one's against the Void, the other's for the Void. I'm pretty sure it WILL be a thing when Riot gets to it.

The comparison was about how much I hate both, which I assumed would make people realize how much I hate both people I mentioned. I apologize that you found it so offensive.

I fail to see any correlation to what I posted and anything in the inappropriate discussions section in the rules. It's not a discussion on the two people I mentioned. It's not even glorifying them. It was a metaphor for the difficulty of picking sides right now, because I hate both Riven and Yasuo... Hence saying it was like picking between two of history's biggest assholes.

Riot needs to censor the names if this is the stance you all are going to take. I'll be contacting you on Discord after I get home from work to discuss this further, because somehow a mountain was made out of a molehill.
