Bard Jungle Tactics

So I recently purchased Bard and frankly I freaking love the dude because he makes you forget that you are playing league of legends and instead you feel like you are playing one of those Bejeweled games on your parents computer that your mom plays because it "helps her relax" even though all you ever see her do with it is rage with it because she can't finish this one level....anyways. I was playing as him and it got me thinking...his meep attacks can actually do a bit of damage and apply quite the slow once you get enough chimes. For this he needs to roam, supports don't roam, who roams?

Jungle roams

But Bard doesn't have the damage to Jungle?

Which got me thinking about a whole new jungle idea. Jungle Bard Here is the thing. Bard never really jungles He doesn't even kill jungle creeps

Instead he lets his ADC, top, and or mid-laner take these creeps at their choosing (he might get smite just to help them secure those buffs), which lets those laners get ahead on XP.

His ganks would be a well placed cosmic binding, some meep empowered Auto's, if the enemy gets away anyways then he'll pop some heal shrines by his laners turret. He would also deploy some heal shrines around the map near lanes just naturally as he casually roams the map to provide sustain to his laners

His magical journey can be used to help allies escape or make for a epic surprise gank if you can pair it with a quick cosmic binding.

His build? AP with move speed. Boots of Mobility (with either Alacrity or Distortion, I can see a ghost/flash or maybe even a TP for his summoners spells) Twin Shadows (AP, sort of a "warding" item, can be used to see if there is danger ahead or secure a kill for his allies) Zz'rot Portal (good MR and decent AR, plus the ability to help push lanes AND point runner is a must) Ardent Censer (your health shrines can now be used offensively by Allies to get extra damage) Talisman of Ascension

etc I cant think of anything else right now. But you get the point. Move speed so that you can roam fast and get chimes, AP so that your heals actually do something, Ganks are not to take a kill but to secure them for allies.

What do you think?

He'd have insanely low gold and exp income, but sure, it could be worth trying.

Few problems.

XP income will make you not very useful in teamfights. You can put limited of 3 heal shrines in a lane at all times. Lack of gold income will make you be far behind as time goes on.

You are thinking about a 'roaming support'. It is a role that is literally what it is: roaming support. It is said that Bard was meant to be what that was but let me tell you the difference between normally played Bard focusing on roaming a little and coming back as fast as possible.

A roaming support literally just roams. The golds and XP are by leeching XP and gold off after ganking, or just sitting there waiting for an opportunity to strike while constantly moving. Combining this with the jungler, this makes it efficient. A roaming support also takes jungle creeps. Just the little ones, and not the big ones, to get some gold income and deny the enemy jungler some experience if possible.
