Divine hate
I attract it. From everyone. It's some kind of glamour I emit that causes people to see me as something to be hated. Something they NEED to hate more than they need the blood in their body or the oxygen in their lungs.
In League, I get focused more than the entire team combined several times over. I learned to weaponize this a long time ago and pick tanks. The enemy will flail at me in futility as they get torn apart by the rest of my team. This is a tactic that works disturbingly well. At the same time, I attract hatred from my own team. Irrational, screaming hatred. It doesn't matter how well I perform or what I do, I will attract hate for just about anything, even things outside of my own power or responsibilities, even if others are doing worse. People will seek to ruin me, even if it destroys themselves in the process; Captain Ahab would be proud.
Hatred is the proper term for it. The way it's laser guided onto me every time, without fail, and the utter self-destructive lengths it goes to for even the slightest "infractions", if you could even call them that, can only be described as such. And people are too stupid to ever realize this.
My most recent game was a clear point of this. The ENTIRE enemy team would go very far out of their way repeatedly in an attempt to kill me, burning ults, summoner spells, letting vital objectives go, getting themselves killed in the process, etc. At the same time, my team is complaining that I'm useless, not doing anything, being too heavy to carry, not warding, etc, all because I didn't buy a sightstone. As I get hyper focused with absolutely EVERYTHING by the enemy team - all their ults, all their summoner spells, even burning flashes for zero reason - my own team would stay just outside of melee range and not engage until I was dead, only to claim I am intentionally feeding the enemy as they proceed to demolish the enemy because they focused everything on me and left nothing for anyone else. All because I didn't buy a sightstone.
People are too dull and stupid to ever notice that I was the only one ever warding. Even though Vlad eventually built a sightstone - and the team praised him for that, though HE was the actual burden in our team - I STILL warded more than he did and the rest of our team combined, with the GST alone. And no, he didn't use his sweeper; even if he actually used it, he never found or smashed a ward, so he wasn't doing my job better than I.
I'm tired of it. I'm seriously tired of it. I'm tired of receiving hatred that is absolutely unwarranted simply because people need something to hate. I'm tired of people being so goddamn stupid they blatantly ignore everything except what they want to see, which is nothing. I like this game, but the community is so abhorrently stupid they neglect even the most basic and fundamental elements of gameplay and human knowledge and absolutely refuse to do or know anything that doesn't fit in their half-assed delusion of glory. It's getting exponentially worse as time goes on, and I worry that the community is beyond salvaging, and that this will all lead to my own exodus.
