It took about 350 ranked games and many tears but I did it. Wow that feels good. I know silver 5 is still bad but that climb took so long it just feels good.

I was Silver 4 last season, went 3/7 in my provisionals and got knocked down to Bronze 5. I made it back to silver in 120 games playing mostly Diana mid, Volibear top and Jungle, not really much ADC and Leona support. Leona is more or less my main because not many people are willing to support and Leona is super strong. So yes, I made it from Bronze 5 to Silver 5 maining support, it is possible people. I am now in Silver 3 and climbing happily. Just stay positive, don't give up, don't flame, and play multiple roles well (Fiora/Riven/Yi/Kat instalockers I'm looking at you) Everyone can get better and go from the depths of bronze to mid/high silver relatively fast if they do it right and are confident in their own skill. I plan on getting to Gold and leaving bronze far behind.
I was silver last season but I failed my provisionals this season by going 3/7. I got placed in bronze 4 but after play five games I knew I didn't belong there and just destroyed everything without stopping until b2 promos. I swear I was in promos to b2 forever, I counted it to be 11 trys. Well anyways I made it to b2 and I'm not planning on playing as much ranked now until maybe I get bored of summer vacation. I just need to get silver and I'm done for the season goal.

Good job! Carrying yourself up a league and seeing that medal change is definietly the best part of ranked. The best part is that it's summer, you have so much free time that you even have a chance of aiming for gold if you are good enough. Mostly because mao jungle gets better as your teammates get better.
I'd rather be bronze..they were nicer than silver people =(

Far as crazy games go, the game that first got me into silver had an AP Cait. who won.

I got to Bronze 3 to Silver 4 in less than 100 games.

FINALLY holy shitusness... I made it as well. Took 4 promo series to get to Silver but was finally able to do it. SO much fucking trolling happening on the last win game that messed it up many, many times....
