I can now say "I am gold" but what weight does it carry?

Gold 5 0 lp. Me saying "I am gold" must mean as much to low gold or higher player as someone saying "I am silver" to me when I was in low silver games. Translates into "yea but you still suck." Or what players mean they say "I am diamond" or "i am plat" but get shrugged off by other players at that their because they are in"division 5"

O well a lot more to learn but its nice to pass a stepping stone. Maybe next season I will get gold before season ends to get those rewards. (Or be once again stuck in that hell pit they call silver 2).
