I was never given Loss Prevented for the server crash the other day because I was unfortunate enough to play in the first few games that were hit the problem of whatever caused the servers to malfunction. All I am told is they cannot do anything to help me out even though it was their fault and not mine. What a load of bullshit man.
ELEJACKIEMOON Yesterday at 06:49 Everything went smoothly through champ select. I selected to play Gangplank top and the game went black screen to switch to the loading screen. It remained a black screen and then popped up an error message saying "Unable to connect to the server. Please check your network connection and attempt to reconnect to your game." I was able to finally log back in once the game had been remade and I saw that I had dropped from 82 LP to 63. The very next champ select there were multiple teammates of mine claiming the same issue. AND IT HAPPENED TO ME AGAIN. Except the next time I wasn't punished with the loss of LP. I would like that 19 LP back. It is the right thing to do to reverse these games that people are getting screwed over by when it isn't their fault.

Thanks for letting us know about the NA server issues. These kinds of issues are frustrating to everyone involved and do not reflect the level of service we want to provide. We're constantly working to improve our server stability and it remains our number one priority. If your disconnection resulted in Leaver Buster penalty I can offer a One Time Exception to remove it as the problem was server related. However you will want to check the Server Status page linked above before re-queuing into a matched game.
Our Compensation Mode (aka "The Button") activates "Loss Forgiven"; it appears in the match history and is only applied on a server wide basis due to server instability/lag. It cannot be applied to individual accounts. We do our best to forgive the losses during these periods but if you were missed I cannot retro-actively apply "Loss Forgiven".
I am really sorry that you experienced this problem and wish you good luck in all your future games. I know this isn't the same thing, but please understand that we're unable to modify Losses, and MMR as it is set in our system to prevent corruption.

Avatar ELEJACKIEMOON Yesterday at 16:56 I received a 5 game leaverbuster penalty and did not receive a "Loss Forgiven" for the one ranked game where I was never able to connect due to the server issue. In the 4 games I never DC or leave games on purpose and this morning I was not able to connect to 3 of 4 games I tried playing. One of them obviously resulting in loss of LP in ranked.
Avatar CORNDOG Yesterday at 20:52 Unfortunately, when a Loss Prevented issue arises, there is a time between when the issue arises and when we can react to it. The Loss Prevented system kicks in after a certain number of games start having problems, and it would appear that this is one of the games that came before the system could kick in. I know that sucks but unfortunately we can't force the Loss Prevention on individual games, to keep fairness to all players involved.

Explain in what way it's fair that I, and many other players, lose LP that we earned because your servers were malfunctioning? So basically what you're telling me is "Sorry about your luck, hopefully it doesn't happen to you again but we're not going to do anything to help you out even though it was due to an issue on our end"?
Avatar CORNDOG Today at 13:53 Fairness comes into play into the rule of "We cannot directly affect a player's ranked score", for any reason aside from server issues. I explained the reasoning of it in my previous reply, and again, I am sorry that you were not able to be given the Loss Prevented.
