First of all: I love it, it was the best thing you guys ever made.
Now for the question. Is there a reason Katarina is always featured in your cinematics? If it's a matter of how her fight style really brings to the fight, there are other mid laners that are just as mobile as her, like Akali, for instance.
Of all your four cinematics (please correct me if I'm wrong about the number), the only one that doesn't feature Katarina is the dominion one.
I would also like to get an official answer to this question, but if I had to make a guess:
Katarina (and Ryze) are two of the most recognizable characters to LoL; having one (or both, in the case of the last cinematic) helps remind some people who may not be as familiar with the other champions that it is the same game their watching. Yea, I know they have their logo at the beginning and end of the cinematic, but I think it could help establish that familiarity and recognizability of the game (for example, if they're showing off the cinematic at a convention and a person walks in mid-way through the video, and isn't sure what game they're looking at since they don't play and don't know all the champions, but they remember seeing that one LoL cinematic where Katarina was featured and suddenly they know what game their watching. It's a stretch, but that's my best guess)
