No, you shouldn't. You should actually play smart and try to help the team. You might give less gold, but you just gave the enemy even more free farm. Now they are really ahead. You can stop trolling now lol.

It's not like they get any less farm if I just camp turret and take the harass. If the jungler isn't coming, I've got nothing to lose.

They actually could get less farm if you poke effectively without diving. You also give your jungler a chance to come if you are actually in lane. Stop trolling, because there is honestly no way that you believe what you are saying.

I do kind of believe it. I can recall a very specific game where I went 0/11/2 as Jinx. After my third death, I just went really aggro-ham and started split pushing towers and grabbing farm. The rest of my team was doing well enough mid that I was able to serve as an annoying distraction from teamfights and push to their inhib. We won that game.

I pulled a similar strategy another game where I was 5/9 and all my team wanted was to chase down kills. I just completely ignored any players that engaged me to farm and hit towers. I took down like 9 of them before my team grouped to end.

Not exactly the same strategy, of course, but if you're unlikely to catch up there's little point in staying safe. Just contribute to the team in any way necessary.
