Dominion and Treeline are Becoming Obsolete (If they haven't already)

I don't know whether this belongs in general discussion or miscellaneous as they seem the same to me. Let me say I love treeline and dominion and used to play them to take a break from Rift but the last couple of years have been pretty rough on these maps. Not only are they left in the cold for things like ranked solo queue (or even team in dominion's case) but they also exclude mastery build up. To make matters worse, treeline is full of bot accounts so even normal matches are often unplayable.

I propose that there be a skin for both of these maps that can be obtained through 50 or whatever wins throughout the season. I personally only play ranked to get the extra skin at the end of the year so I think a lot of people would be happy if there was something like this in the other maps to make them much more attractive. If Riot gives incentive to play these maps, I bet a lot of people would start doing so.

General Discussion is the hodgepodge board. It's more of a remnant of the old forums than a standard subforum. Miscellaneous is the catchall subforum for topics that may not fit in any of the other subforums.

Both Treeline and Dominion players have reported bots hanging around for years.

A skin would certainly be a nice gesture. Consistent Riot support would probably be more effective in helping maintain alternate maps playerbases though. Being regularly ignored and neglected just feels terrible. Riot keeps introducing new features to the game and claiming they care about the playerbase. Unfortunately, alternate maps players evidently aren't included as League of Legends players because we can't really access those new features, and Riot rarely even acknowledges us, much less talk to us.

3v3 already gives you seasonal rewards in ranked, which are easier to obtain than it would be in soloq or even ranked 5s.

I'm a Dominion main (though I also play some 3v3) and I think 50 wins is way too much. Make it an Icon for 10 wins and people might actually go for it. Some of them might find that they like some of the alternate maps, and some will just play 18-22 games per season to get the icon (and some won't even do that).
