So I got the chance to read about new punishments

FIRST OFF: original was deleted for being under the wrong board (even though the red post about it was in gameplay and balance so good job mods!)

So bans are automated now as well without a real person looking into them and you only get THREE chances before a perm ban, meaning riot doesn't care if you get falsely reported for verbal abuse for things like "Stop feeding" "why the heck did you do that?!" "Wtf man" "play safer please and farm up" (generally neutral remarks) you are being thrown in with those who actually deserve bans for things like "FUCKING %%%GOT COCK SUCKING ASS BLASTING BITCHOID!" GG fellow neutral players, we have to actually try and be positive or get banned forever because riot wants a carebear community meanwhile their community is one the most absolute toxic report happy communities out there

Oh but the feeders can stay (like the one dunkey encountered) as long as they are nice

TLDR: wtf is riot doing with the punishment system, everything was fine when we had a player run tribunal

Too much effort, they needed more hands on deck to feed the Zoo of Phenoms over at the LC$

Also, the mods need to fix what is considered a Champion Concept, because Reworks actually fit in that category

Not much has changed. It has been automated for some time now. The only real change is the amount of chances you are given. If you weren't getting chat restricted or banned before nothing has changed for you.

Positive isn't and never has been the standard. Neutral is.

Bans were never automated, they always had a person look into them (to avoid banning somebody over being falsely reported a lot I.E.: you go 0/8/10 for three games and get reported for verbal abuse but didn't even send one message

And neutral has never been the standard otherwise neutral wouldn't be reportable

Bans weren't always automated but they have been for a while, that is not new to the last patch. I don't know exactly when that started but at the very least with the instant feedback system, but im pretty sure it went back well before that too.

Getting reported by itself doesn't mean anything. The only thing reports do is trigger the automated review of your chat. If you said nothing you could get reported for verbal abuse a million times and it wouldn't matter.

Do you ever actually READ or look into the punishment system? Bans were NEVER automated lyte had even confirmed that a rioter would always look at chat logs to see if you need a ban

Regarding the chat and ranked restrictions: riot never actually looked at them you would get them if you were reported for being toxic in enough games

I had previously gotten a chat restriction and got my logs in a support ticket and I found out I hadn't even used ANY curse words such as damn or shit or fuck

Yet I knew in those games I was reported because I was on tilt and didn't do well as an adc, my team constantly flamed me and got the enemy team to flame and report me aswell and saying simple things like "report me for being toxic when I'm not? You guys are using the foul language/ I'm on tilt I'm not trolling or being toxic/ report me then but it will be a false report and you might get banned" earned me a chat restriction

I have. Bans were not automated for most of the games history, but they were not new in this patch. They moved reform cards into the client, announced a policy of escalating to perma bans, and updated intentional feeder detection. The bans were already automated though.

Cursing has never been against the rules. Its how you use those words, not that you used them. For example if you said something like "fuck, I messed up" that would be completely fine. But if you said "fuck you" then it wouldn't.

So you think theres nothing wrong with egging toxic people on? Why make a bad situation worse? Mute, report, and move on.
