I'd like to know what I should be focusing on buying with IP. I currently own 42 champions, and I only run 2 rune pages, one AD and one AP. I'm a relatively new player in my second season, should I be using my IP for champions, or for runes?
This is currently my third season and I own 71 champions. Personally, I've decided to buy new champions rather than rune pages, and I'm currently on the 4800 IP champions. I don't really think runes matter too much in low elo, assuming you are in low elo. Although, if you do find a champion you enjoy, I recommend getting a dedicated rune page to them.
OK. so first, dont buy runes unless you know what you want. make a second account to specifically fuck around with runes. I made a huge mistake when i first started playing league, buying runes (thankfully the rune combiner was a thing then...) and i really got cheated out of IP. Look through the runes, see what intrigues you, then go look at pro players and see how they use those runes to better themselves. Thats what I did for the first little while before I got comfortable with making my own devilish concoctions...like 8% cdr on my top laners while having stupid damage, move speed and tankyness....(works really well on irelia, darius and fiora ;3) .
