Gotta love Blitzcrank . He can miss a hundred hooks over the course of the game, but if one happens to land before a teamfight at lategame it can singlehandedly (cwutididthar) win the game.

The reward is so much higher than the risk, it's infuriating.

I never understood why people say focus Soraka. I mean I have never played her but i'm pretty sure she does %maxHP true damage to herself each time she heals, why actively try to kill her when she's doing all the work for you?

her healing cannot deal lethal damage to her

also that +max hp true damage is like 60-100 hp loss

and in exchange for that 60-100 hp truedamage she heals like 300-400 hp to an ally that can also be though of as true damage

If you don't focus her then nobody on her team dies. Which is really conventional "focus the medic" gameplay strategy.

I just hate laning against her because if you didn't pick an aggressive all in support then get ready for a pure farm lane because NOTHING is gonna happen without jungler intervention.

this was pre-rework soraka, but now she hurts herself to heal the adc so they still overall are at a disadvantage at the next fight.

Like I said, all in aggressive supports. If you're a pokey or more utility driven support then you can't engage on them until they've been poked down at least a title bit but she won't let you poke her down because she'll sit way in the back and if you try to poke down her ADC then she'll just heal them up over and over and by the time she can't do it anymore you'll be dinged up and low on mana.

When you jump on the ADC as Leona and that people AoE pops up under you and stops your stun if not the entire rest of your kit, the Soraka is laughing on the other end of the screen.

But yeah. Lower her health and she can't heal without thinking about it.

She literally has to land her Q just to regenerate health because her own regen doesn't even exist.

Blitz and Annie are on the list though. It's annoying when you dodge every Blitzcrank hook and that ONE hits you at the tip of your "invisible champion model" and you go flying.

Her entire design is to have few mechanics, therefore little counterplay. She's extremely binary and mid-low range because of this. What counterplay she does have is obvious and easy to abuse given the current champion pool.
