That I'm consistently out performing others in my role during ranked, but can't play the game due to early season trolls. People that give 15+ kills and say they're just having a 'rough' game. Why does ranked in this game have to be so brutal. You have to play so many damn games to cancel out the RNG of ranked if you're truly better than your division.
Placements this season were awful, that's really the main explanation for your troubles. I mean I have a friend who was Plat 3 last season and due to trolls and afks in placements ended up in Bronze 1, managed to get out into Silver pretty quickly but now he's stuck with me cause of the other side of the coin, which is Bronze players getting placed extremely high for some reason.
A couple other friends in gold atm have told me they've seen quite a few "season 4 bronze" players somehow placed into their gold matches, where they ofc get stomped into oblivion and just rage none stop. So Silver is even worse as you can imagine, I was playing with and against diamond players in my placements and due to one troll and a few 4v5s due to afks I deranked all the way back to silver, and I play with former bronze players in just about every match, both teams mainly bronzies in high silver ranked matches.
Not sure what Riot did THIS time but they screwed up hard w/e it was, so my advice to you is just wait a little while for the ranks to stabilize and you'll end up playing with more low gold ranked players, and if you are better then them then you'll rank up more quickly then you might be now with and against a bunch of silvers and bronzies. Granted though mid gold and lower it's still hard to carry sometimes, win early game and your team refuses to push for an easy/quick win cause they're "having fun" and let the other team catch up, or they feed the whole early game and you have to try and keep them from raging and try to hold out and wait for the other team to get arrogant and start throwing. Cause honestly low elo matches are either won by early as heck snowballing with a joke champion or by the other team throwing lol
But ofc if you're good enough you can get that early snowballing going and play smart enough to win almost on your own, most the time lol
Consider the possibility that you really aren't that far ahead of everybody else as you might think?
