you're about to kill the enemy adc then whomp, tahm eats him up and hes gone. Its nearly impossible to get early game kills when their is an enemy tahm he picks people up and takes them to safety while having almost 2 full sets of his HP bar.
tahm bench counterplay tips:
Ignite is a minor counterplay mechanic. It still damages the target even while in Tahm's mouth. Damage over time spells/effects from Brand, Twitch, Cassiopeia, Singed, Fizz, Mordekaiser, Malzahar, Teemo and Zed can also bypass this mechanic in some way.
I realize that these are very minor, niche and overly specific counters, but they do bypass him making an ally untargetable.
