So uhm, why does Miss Fortune's ult scale with AP?

And it isn't even good enough AP to justify building AP MF, trust me, I've tried.

So it's not OP by scaling off AD, gives AP MF a chance to work, and gives her some reliable damage against high Armor targets. This is pretty much the reason for all AP scaling on traditionally AD champions, though not all have it.

Well, her ult still does physical damage. So making it scale with AP doesn't give her some reliable damage against high armor targets lol. Also, AP MF doesn't work lol. Her ult doesn't scale well enough at all with AP to make it work.

MF is weird. Her ult applies stacks of her W passive, which scales based on AD, but deals magic damage.

I've considered doing little bits of hybrid on her before, and made it work once. Lately all I keep from my old AP MF builds is item 3020 to help those W stacks stick better.

Having AD on it still doesn't make the AP portion less effective or anything...what was your point?

The damage type on her ult is Physical, so it's resisted by armor, even though the direct scaling comes from Ability Power.

The ult does still deal fairly significant amounts of Magic-typed damage through the application of W stacks, which scale based on Attack Damage.

My point is that it is still physical damage, so your statement of it "gives her some reliable damage against high armor targets" is completely false.
