I've just had my second ranked match where my team literally just gives up at first blood. And it's been happening to the enemy team as well, they literally just say "GG" at first blood. These are Platinum players, I kindve expected them to try a little harder than the lower elos.

There was a game i had a while ago where we had:

7/1 2. 0/0 3. (me) 2/2 4. 3/2 5. 1/0

they just surrendered at 20, i was the only one who voted no. I am just genuinely confused at this point

surrender is Always better.

in a matchmaking system like LoL you will only win about 50% of your games. trying to win is very short sighted. for every win you will have to take a loss. if you surrender games you are winning, you can win more games in the future.

It's a F2P game, with zero punishment for doing wrong. Riot seems to reward bad behavior.

When the assassin meta returns well go back to fed Zeds and Talons 1 vs 5ing whole teams and it will be easier for focused individuals to climb in solo Q despite bad teams.

As is it is very hard to salvage multiple losing lanes if you are the only one doing good in a match. I think people throwing at FB is not all too different from instasurrendering at 20 if the enemy is just slightly ahead.

IMO they should get rid of the surrender timer or just lower the cap to 5 minutes.

Talon was always the "I got you, but everyone else got me" assassin. When did he ever go on a 1v5 spree?

Only if he has like 20/0, has lvl 18 while everybody else has 13-15 lvl and has full build with a lot of lifesteal. Maybe then, he would stand a chance in 1v5. Maybe. In bronze and silver, that is.

1: If you are a good, helpful player, you will climb Solo Queue. That is a rule. 2: You apparently haven't played a ranked game on your account since at least May 1st. So apparently you haven't tried to climb Solo Queue. 3: No, we don't want the assassin meta back. It will not be back, nor do we want it. One player being able to 1v5 full teams is counterproductive to teamwork. And teamwork is an important part of this game. 4: You can salvage losing lanes. Hell, I've played two 4v5s recently, won 1, and hit Nexus turrets before losing the other. Giving up after a bad early game is not helpful. 5: The reason why the surrender timer is 20 minutes is because it is very, very unlikely that you have fallen far behind enough in 20 minutes to where you cannot win. It can be very unlikely to win, but you haven't lost until your Nexus is destroyed. 6: Overall, if you had a more positive outlook on these matches, you might find yourself winning more. You seem to be in a pretty bad mood about everything.

I get the need to make a point but I wanted to see what the heck was going on in that game you mentioned and so i looked through all 5 of your ekko games and the one that matched had scores nothing like that (except for you and raka).

Aside from that I haven't really seen that kind of behavior but its sucky when it does happen. I hope your games start going better for you.
