@Riot, next time you make an event like this you need to increase the threshold for contributions.

The fact that we're probably not going to reach the final tier of rewards for this event despite having such a huge playerbase just goes to show how selfish this game's community is.

They get their one 5-man win and then they just rely on other people to do all the hard work for them.

The next event that relies on the community reaching community goals needs its rewards to better reflect their contributions. This event isn't about rewards (although they're nice to have), it's about getting the community to rally together and put aside differences and have fun contributing to a set goal.

As soon as I realized we might not make, I heavily increased the amount of LoL I was playing, and was making sure if I felt like playing I joined a 5-man premade (there were constantly 100+ people in a public chat room called 'Pool Party' on the OCE server and for the first couple of days there were also 50+ people in a chat room called 'Pool Party ARAM'). I was queueing with all ranks and player levels having fun and being the least toxic I'd been in a long time.
