I'm not good at this game

But why does it seem like I don't get matched with people the same level as me? Again, I understand I am not good, but why do I get matched with people that always want to dive their fed lane opponent, only to die for the 5th straight time, chase tanks into the unwarded jungle, not ward, die a whole bunch. Like, I don't get how I am considered the same as these folks? Is it literally because me and maybe one other person can't carry the other 3-4 players on the team? Because that just seems stupid, as those players will only improve ranking too. I just had an adc that afk farmed the entire game. We had like 30 or so total kills, and she had like 2 kills and 1 assist. Just afk farming, pushing lanes too far and getting caught. Even asking this person to group got a "shut up noob /all report X for toxic" response. It's just one example, but honestly how did this person move up in the rankings?

Being bad at this game is usually linked to impulsively bad decisions and general inconsistency, be it mechanical or decision-making... That means that the people you are paired up with probably are closer to you in skill levels and just being momentarily bad for some reason. I feel the same way at times and then sometimes realize that I was being 'that guy' myself. Sometimes I just go HAM in lane when I know better, because YOLO (or something...). Other times, I die a lot because I'm genuinely trying to test my limits, which other people may be doing at times. I also run new champs vs. real opponents when I'm bad with them because I'd rather not play vs. bots and get an artificial experience. So, as much as I cringe sometimes at the 'first time Diana' comments from my season 5 jungler, I've been executed by jungle camps too, so I have little room to talk.

Every game is different. 90% of the players in your game are added in randomly and the game is entirely team-oriented. It's the plight of all summoners, friend. You are not experiencing anything uncommon. You can carry yourself out of low ELO if you want or just stop playing to win and start playing to have fun. Sometimes, it's fun to play from a disadvantage... I always feel much better after winning a hard fought 4v5 than a grindy 5v5.

Queue up with a duo...then at least you're no the only non-rando in the game.

But I feel your pain.
