What new mechanics would you like to see?

When It comes to league, riot has been adding a lot of mechanics. But what mechanics are missing?

For me, the most obvious mechanic is bouncing of walls abilities, where you can shoot your ability into a wall for it to bounce off and hit a target in another spot. It could also be done with dashes.

What do you guys think is missing?

A lot of developers have talked about that lately, actually. There are a few that are really interested in getting wall-bounces in the game somewhere, but apparently it just hasn't felt right on anything they've tested it on.

It'd be interesting, although I'm not sure it'd be particularly great because how skillshots work generally is passing through walls - a lot of players are pretty accustomed to that. Could you imagine Vel'Koz if his Q couldn't pass through terrain? Yick.

Basically, it would be like Vel'koz's Q, except when hitting the wall it would take what range it had left(500 range, for example) it would travel 500 units in the target direction. It would have quite a bit of range I think, since bouncing off walls may not be the best way to always use it.

An invisibility ward that masks any allied champions in its area from green wards( not champions or pinks) It would last 3 mins, and be stealthed itself.

A "summon" summoner spell. would open a window that the target champion could use a keybound accept key to be teleported to whoever summoned them

I would say the ward would have to be visible, or it would be pretty OP.

And the summon summoner spell is awfully close to shen's ult. So it might not be best.

All the invisibility ward would do is counter enemy green wards, without them knowing anything was there.

It's a different flavor of denying vision. I do feel that unless limited to one per player, it would be very op.

It should prob cost as much as a pink ward.

The idea behind summon is that botlane could take it, and summon the toplaner w/o a ward to teleport to for a 5 man gank.

That could become incredibly frustrating, which is why I'm saying it might be a bad idea.

I think there's a lot of room to mess around with vision based abilities. There are a few gems like Paranoia or Hawkshot, but it'd be really interesting to see a champion whose central theme was manipulating vision, or potentially even feeding false information to the enemy.

That would be interesting. But it depends on what KIND of manipulation.

I think maybe an "Anti-Wall" might be interesting. Like a wall that strengthens allied projectiles that move through it rather than weakening or destroying enemy ones (kind of like Jayce's acceleration gate). Although with certain champions like Katarina orLucian it could be really over powered.

What about Nidalee 's spears?

An ability that ables you to stealth an ally(maybe give it the Eve passive treatment,so its balanced),the ability to teleport an ally to a location, the ability to reproduce a copy of an ally and use them as a pet.

These yre just some suggestions.

Thresh and Yorick, respectively, for those last two.

But stealthing an ally sounds like a terrible idea, and I'm pretty sure beta Lux did something to that effect. It was probably scrapped for a reason.

PokladnicaZla1 votes

Yeah Luxs had it on beta, but she was able to stealth an entire team.

I meant just a copy, with no damage. It purpes could be scounting or confusing the enemy so your ADC can live.

The thresh part, yeah seems so,But i was imagening it a little bit different.
