"Everyone has the same chance of getting bad teammates" (redux)

Some things got buried in the comments in the last post. Preface: The focus of what I am presenting here is not intended to be an average of what the community experiences as a whole. An average by definition does not expose radicals that may occur.

Let's refer to players as more skilled and less skilled. Skill being separate from Rank and rather a reflection of that players worth at the time they enter a game (Internet connection(afk) , attitude, reaction time, general knowledge ect...)

Player A and Player B fight. Player A is more skilled and will most likely win. (A) 1>(B) 0

Now let's examine teams. (A) 1,1,1,0,0 > (B) 1,1,0,0,0 Team A has fewer member that are less skilled and should win.

Obviously a player who is more skilled is not more skilled in every game because this variable is dependent on comparing them to their opponent. These variables perpetuate through every single game and will effect a players Rank.

Original statement : It's often compared to a coin flip that's not entirely true. It's actually 9 coin flips. The strength or weakness of each player is significant. If I were to sit down with another person and we each rolled a 9 sided die there is a chance that one of us may pull drastically ahead after consecutive rolls. I've gone an entire night of playing MTG without winning one "who goes first" roll.

Now let's say it's a coin flip. 50/50 out of 100. This does not mean that you win then lose win then lose..... At the same time that is exactly what it could be because the 50% odds apply to each flip. Two players may indeed get 50 wins out of 100 games but the order they are made in can have drastically different outcomes in what rank each ends up in. Furthermore because each flip had it's own odds it is entirely possible to win 100 out of 100 flips https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq39ofDtYPA

Perhaps everyone has the chance. But theres getting bad team mates because theyre bad and then theres getting bad team mates because they are clearly not on your skill level. For example I have 700 normals wins. I regularly get paired with people who have 130. The disparity, regardless of the team they are on, is unhealthy for the game and creates a negative experience in the fact that either I curb stomp the other team or the other team curb stomps my team mates when, if they went equal, I could have done well enough to carry the game.
