Question about skin boost

Not sure if this is the right board, but whatever.

Why does it force you to play the skin that was unlocked? When it was unlocked and I got haunted zyra, I didn't want to use the skin, I wanted to use the default. However, it kept switching back to haunted, refusing to let me use the default.

Am I missing something here?

Then don't get a skin boost in the first place?

It wasn't my choice to get it, a teammate unlocked it.

I wanted to play the default.

It doesn't. It could've been a client bug, but there have been plenty of times where a skin boost was unlocked, and I completely forgot to change it to the unlocked skin. I've gotten a lot of shit for that :/
