... is what I got told after winning a match as Soraka toplane. I'm currently Plat 3, still climbing.

And I'm like... HELLO, WE LEFT LOW ELO AT LEAST FIVE DIVISIONS AGO, if not even a tad eariler. I'm not sure if it really classifies as "high ELO", but given how small the player pool in Diamond is I might be in the top 10% of total players already. Maybe it is "Middle ELO", I don't know... BUT IT SURE AS HELL AIN'T LOW.

I know what low Elo is like. I have stared into the abyss that is Bronze 5 Zero LP once years ago, and I can asssure you the madness down there is not comparable to anything I have seen on my climb yet.

People kinda need to look at their perceptions of Low ELO/High ELO, and the field inbetween, because right now it seems just weird.

plat is still low elo. Technically it's like middle elo but nobody really says that.

Uhm, according to league of graphs, if you add the global percentages of Challenger, Master, Diamond, and all of Plat together you still have less that 10% of the playerbase, the largest Division of them being Plat 5 with 3,02%. And speaking from Plat 3, I'm pretty much close to being in the top 5%. Globally.

How the fuck can being better than 95% of the global playerbase be considered LOW?!

Its considered low because honestly the plat standard isn't what it used to be. The "top percentage" is still a lot of players with the increasing number of league players, and a lot of plats still play like golds. Its where the "gold 10" joke started coming from.

Some even consider diamond 5 low elo. High Elo is like Diamond 3+

There's no "rule" for what is low/high elo, but to most high elo is diamond 3 and anything lower is usually considered low.
