Troll reports win again! tired of these automated punishments...
edit: it should be noted riot has told me if I continue being toxic (after my former 2 week ban) Id be perma banned yet im getting warnings an automated punishments because bronze is chock full of people who will report you for saying "please stop feeding"
which means im not being toxic but the automated system thinks I am and boom punishments .. whatever

There's really no way to reason with them lol. Failure of their upbringing I guess :( The most we can do is explain to them that troll report bans are basically unicorns.

This is besides the fact that it is extremely unlikely that they were troll reports. If you want to contest a restriction, then send in a support ticket. Chances are, they'll find the reports were valid and won't do anything about it.

because its not automated, and it took riot 5 days to review your reports... thats why

You don't get a notification every time you get a report. You only get one when you have a large increase in reports (like over half your games or something). Many people think that the notification means they got 1 report, and don't realize that in reality they are on the verge of getting a restriction.
Arcade Andrew1 votesI know that, but the warnings riot stated are automatic and will only warn you that your being reported and have no actual effect on your account status, its just a heads up saying "hry youre being reported for the past 3 or 4 games!"
and with the amount of trolls in bronze, reporting me for being toxic when I tell them "Im not the toxic one here, youre badmouthing me and my team so im muting and reporting you" (whilst trying to stick up for my team against enemies who were putting down my teams two weeks ago or near that time) but I guess if you get reported it doesnt matter what you said, you get automatically punished anyways

Arcade Andrew1 votesEven if I did say that Its not toxic, I do that often as a common courtesy to let them know I will no longer be responding and that further talking to me will only hinder their gameplay (I actually want both sides to try and have a fun fair game without raging)
roughly 2 out of ten times, I do notice an improvement in the enemy toxic players playstyle and teamwork and they do provide a good fight!
they rest just report me for being toxic since I gave them the common courtesy to let them know they are muted

Deep Terror Nami1 votesYou don't seem to get it. If you keep getting reported for something, then that means people don't want you to do it. Riot doesn't decide what is appropriate, the players do, and they vote on it by reporting.
I really don't know any other way to put it. If you keep getting reported for something, stop it.

If multiple trolls report you because they are toxic and mad and just want to get back at you, that doesnt make it "toxic" that just means there are multiple trolls reporting you (and in bronze everyone is report happy FOR ANYTHING)
heres an example:
somebody gets first blood and says "haha almost got me! nice try! :P"
the enemy replies with "FK U HACKER SHIT BAG IM REPORTING YOU FOR TOXIC"
he gets reported obvious troll report,
now what youre saying is the following:
He plays a total of 100 games in the period of ten days the first game of each day he says the comment and get the same or similar response and reported for it.
then he gets restrictions
according to you in this case "haha almost got me! nice try!"
is toxic and should be just as punishable as the remark he got from the obvious toxic troll.
do you see where your logic is flawed?
Not every game will I say im muting or reporting somebody and not every game he says haha nice try
but because 10 trolls decided to report me(if you placed me in the hypothetical situation of 100 games in ten days) all of a sudden something that is not toxic and acceptable to say (the only person reporting me are the trolls, my team and the non toxics on the enemy team honor me and report the guys I muted and reported which generally is a 8v2 majority) is now considered jsut as toxic as -death threats -homophobic remarks -racial slurs -ect
