I'm surprised elo actually got accepted as a ranking system in a TEAM game

Elo is a system made for chess, 1v1 if you lost it was your fault, if you won it was your skill.

In LoL you have 4 people that have a chance to hold you down and make you lose or carry you and give you a win you should have never had. Winning and losing is decided by pure luck.

We reached this conclusion years ago in regards to the implementation of the elo system for league. Its stupid, and it sucks, but its what we've got.
