I've had a dream to work as a designer at Riot for a while now, but there's one huge problem: I live in Sweden. Since all the designer positions are in the USA, I don't even know how I would manage to get a position without first having to move to the US with only the hopes of getting the job. Does any Rioter have any insight on how I could one day make my dream come true?

Not a Rioter, but what about going at the Internship at Dublin? there are no open spots as a game designer ( generally speaking, because game design at riot has many and many branches ) but there you can do a lot of valuable experience for game design, try to get in there and then go to NA. Sure you will still have to travel and to work on, but it' s a safer approach i think. Maybe getting contacts there will allow you to better determine if you have good chances to becomee a designer?

Probably insights research? i was valuing the opportunity too, even if i must first see how it clashes with university...
