The "new" sublcass lingo

I'm a HUGE fan of this new nomenclature. I've always been bothered by people who claim LeBlanc is a mage, or that Yasuo is an assassin. It's relieving to know that Riot thinks the same as I. Do you think the community as a whole will begin using the new jargon? Stuff like "We really need a vanguard for engage" or "Lel you only play skirmishers, what are you, 14?" If so, how far off are we from achieving this?
