Trouble logging in; excessive lag in-game

Hey, I just wanted to get some information about whether or not this is just me, or if others are having this problem.

All day I have been having EXCESSIVE lag in games. Not spikes, but constant, consistent 4-6 second delays. I'm plugged into ethernet, and my network seems to be working fine aside from League.

Another issue, that I feel may be related, is how long I've been sitting at the login screen with the words "Logging in..." going. My logins take upwards of 6 minutes from the moment I type my password to actually getting into the client.
