is the best imho.
All the others are the worst cause they aren't Lux. I might be a little biased though.
We're talking about Theme and Gameplay, right?
#Best
is definetly one of the best designed champions in the game IMO.
But he was really overtuned on release, because Riot didn't even know what the best build would be, and I don't specifically agree with some of the directions they took when balancing him.
could easily take the number one spot imo.
Very, Very, Very, Very high up there.
... Gameplay more than thematic as far as she goes imo, but I do agree with you. She feels great to have on your team, but never really felt opressive to face. Untill recently, that is. But healing and shielding being overtuned right now is not specific to her.
He could use some minor changes, but he does an amazing job at combining the Necromancer theme and a Fighter theme.
#Worst
''Muh Balance''
Ionian champions, or the older ones atleast, tend to do a pretty bad job at having a personality in my eyes.
Add some problematic Gameplay and/or poor translation from Thematic to Gameplay on top of that and here you are (Seriously, who even knew Irelia uses telekinetic powers before reading her lore?)
What the fuck. How is she still in the game?
Unless Riot designed her with ''Let's make a champion as annoying in every possible way as we can'' in mind, something seriously went wrong here, imo.
does a really, really bad job at translating his thematic goals to gameplay.
The Berserker who bitched the fuck out.
"ARE YOU MAKING FUN OF MY SKAARL?"
Serious. way to much Kled hate, he is a cool champ with a clear correlation between lore and gameplay.

I know it seems like I think there are more terribly designed champs than good ones but that isn't true. Everything not in the Best or Worst section I think is good or ok in design. It just I do think there are a few very well designed champions and some very badly designed champions. Just so you know I am not being 100% biased I play Janna quite often not because she is broken but because she is fun, but she is not well designed. I don't play jhin or lucian or Braum or illaoi but I do think as far as their role and identity they are very well designed. There is one champion that I think is the worst design of all though, I wonder if you can figure it out :P
Best:
Clear weaknesses. Very thematic. Clean, not overloaded, and windows of opportunity for both sides.
Worst:
Has waveclear, her shield, can be tanky while melting carries, is mobile af, and is almost impossible to build against with her %hp damage and armor shred. Additionally, there is no counter play to her ultimate, which makes me biased against her 24/7. She has cool skins though.
Too much is going on. When fighting Ekko, you gotta manage his passive stacks, your mana, your cooldowns, his mana, his cooldowns, his W stun, ganks, cs, his Q on both directions, and his ultimate. Even out of laning phase, you gotta kite him, watch his passive stacks, stay away from his Q, stay away from his W, and stay away from his ult while he runs in circles around you like Speed Gonzales.
Snowbally and sheet.

How is Kled bad? Even though he's strong and can snowball, he doesn't really statcheck you as hard as other toplaners. People say things like Xin and J4 are alright but Xin is a walking ball of stats and J4's power is literally all locked into his burst without anything else. You survive it, you win.
Kled has to commit to killing you if he wants to fight like J4, but it's not over if you survive right away. Of course, since he has high DPS with upfront burst, he can overwhelm you, but you have time to fight opposed to R-E-Q-AA-death.

is an example of a very good designed champion
clear strengths and weaknesses, doesn't feel clunky, is fun to play with and not frustrating to play against.
2016 had
and
as good designed champions.
but i'm asking myself what they think when they release shit like
or
.
i mean, do they really think that such BS is a good addidion to the game?
