Match making placing me with players much higher skilled then I am.

My last game was sort of unfair in my opinion. The teams were like this: My Team Plat 4, Plat 4, Gold 1 (me), plat 4, plat 5

Enemy Team Plat 4, Plat 5, Plat 3, Plat 2, Plat 5

Now the difference between a Gold 1 and a Plat 2 are quite different in terms of skill level. The plat 2 fucked my team by the way. Now people would say the only reason I'm being matched with a Plat 2 in this case is that the Plat 2 has a low MMR. But according to LOLking she has a plat 2 MMR and a winrate in ranked of 62%, 129 wins to 85 losses. She seems quite good.

I don't really see how this match was that fair since the difference between even plat 5 skill and plat 2 skill is significant enough to be considered relevant.
