Riot please show in chat who is pinging regular pings, or give us a way to mute players abusing ping

Seriously I just had yet 2nd toxic game of the day, a player goes Top Lane, then tells me after I pick a support champion they don't like because of auto lockers and only having a small chance to do well, he goes bottom lane without even asking throws off the game early finally goes top after he sees the game is going to go bad.

Then after going bot the entire game someone on my team starts spamming pings with G key, I don't know who it was because I can't see name I had to turn off my sound and file a support ticket.

Please Riot, Fix this so all pings show who is doing it its annoying and toxic as I have no way to mute but players were blame me saying I was doing it because they think I was trolling the game just because of off meta champion being played, this pinging distracted our entire team made players do worse.

Lol distracted by pings. Sure they're annoying but you can turn that volume down. Jus sayin

Ping spammers are the worst. IMO, you should only need to ping once or twice to get the attention of your team. Personally, I like to ping twice for missing laners, and twice when I'm jungling and incoming for a gank (once to let the lane know and again when I'm coming in). Other than this, I keep it to one ping.

Riot should really implement this into the mute feature where it not only blocks chat, but pings as well.

I understand that these kind of things are annoying, and they force you to lose focus.

However, doing so will cause some major issues like you getting angry at someone not pinging danger and stuff like that.

To be honest, the best way is to try to communicate like a human to them. You know....when you ask someone in a bus to turn down volume on headphones. If they refuse, just lower the volume of ping a bit so, it's not annoying and pay attention to minimap to identify legitimate pings.

I remember I once saw a Kayle spamming laugh emote while we were waiting for jungle monster to spawn. I asked her to stop, and she did. She was very friendly and cooperative during the whole game.

Our goal shouldn't be to ignore others, but help them become better players/people. You don't ignore a child if he starts to throw stuff at you; you teach him not to do it.

Be better! Be a role model!
