Jup I'm a longtime fan. Now I play on days like this. When I just wanna relax kick back and try my hardest to win a game.
I feel this sense of abandonment, anger, confusion.. honestly it all boils down to sadness.
I forgot that I was having this issue. fired up the game bc a homie (i live abroad) wanted to play. Realised I had this leaver buster.(this bug) Made my party go on (queue up) without me. i'm not about making 4 people 10 minutes! aint never been about that.!
I'll just play 3 more games by myself and i'll be good to go.
Went and played an aram,(connected just fine btw) lost horribly. called it a night.
Today I felt like supporting in a ranked game. So I picked fill position and rolled them dice.
Got support (surprise) selected lulu, couldn't connect .. what ??? oh god noo .. these people are screwed 4v5 now ... noooo .. ah.. feels bad...and its ranked?! FOOOOOOohkh.
I didn't give up reconnecting. I text a buddy via league chat that i'm trying to connect. (so it's obviously not my internet and i'm using the chat service of the client)
He says he sees my status as mobile? .. (I don't own the app)
Then the game is over .. A remake..
I mean at least my team didn't get punished...aside from the wasted time..
But apparently this client sees me as an even bigger degenerate scumbag leaver than before!. I doubled my leaver buster queue? 20 minutes? "start to cry" try to check if they also doubled the amount of low priority queue matches before I can be back to normal.. it's not showing the amount of matches anywhere .. It used to be under notifications right? Can't click that now.. restarting isn't doing anything even rebooting "have you tried turning it off and on again" leaves me wanting.
I really like this game. I never paid any money into it (it being free was the reason could even get into it) so I don't feel robbed. I would pay to have this injustice corrected though(what'll it take riot? I don't need 2 kidneys we can work this out). But it would be nice if Riot could clear this up foc.
Idea: whenever someone "leaves" a game but they are still online on the client give them a popup asking what happened.
I don't wanna have to go find an other game to play .. I like league .. It's just hard sometimes.. It will get better.. Riot has a good heart.. Making a game on this scale work just must be very hard.. and stressful.. I believe they still care about us.. They are trying to be good.. I believe in them..
