Boy, 13, 'bullied into hanging himself by teammates playing League of Legends'

If this is inappropriate please do remove it, otherwise I am honestly tired of the toxic people who call others names and encourage people to kill themselves, or go hardcore onto players for losing a game, this obviously was not worthit a life for a game of League being lost...

But Nope I have to hear the "R" word, and "A" word directed at others daily in games and hardcore raging at others to the point where its not just blame for loss of a game its much much more.

This is misleading. He didn't kill himself because strangers were bullying him online. He killed himself by accident because he and his friends decided to act like dumb kids and he agreed to choke himself for messing up in game. His death was not intentional, nor was it because someone called him a mean name or told him to kill himself. So it really has no bearing on you having people call you names in game.

If his skin was that thin, he would have hung himself over something else in the future.

After reading the article, it sounds like it has nothing to do with league of legends at all. He was not upset that he was talked trash to, he was playing the "choking game" with his friends and he died like a fucking idiot. It's his own fault.

People who are stupid enough to deprive themselves of oxygen for fun should continue having fun till the end of time. If they weren't retarded before they choke themselves, they sure would be after. If you hurt yourself for fun, you're too stupid to live. If you hurt yourself for fun that then results in you losing IQ, you're too stupid to live. Either way, it's a burden lifted from everybody's shoulders.

I'm not being mean or anything, I'm saying it how it is. He did it for fun, not because of depression or psychological damage. The headline of the article is an insult to anybody who has real depression.

Ok, LoL needs a tutorial about that magical spell that is called the "mute button"

Question: People are mean to you on the Internet. Do you: a) shoot yourself b) hang yourself c) drink bleach d) Press the goddamn ignore button like any sane person and just let them troll someone who cant hear them

This is not like actuall bullying where you cant get away, you are on a PC dammit, if nothing else works, close the game and jerk off or something, jesus.

Sorry not sorry. I was bullied all my school life, and I mean REAL BULLING, not that crap that counts as bullying today, and I get on, I didnt kill myself even though I had every reason to and I have absolutely NO SYMPATHY for people who kill themself because they cant deal with some mean mean words on the Internet!

You should work at CNN. Thats where all the biased media goes. In other words, you did not read the article correctly, thus you made up your own story. This was not because of his team mates being toxic. Way to get your information wrong.

Not to be a downer, but someone like that would have just done it anyway for some other reason like being bullied at school if they didn't get help. Was bullying in LoL the trigger? Probably. But it was only the straw the broke the camels back, not the real problem.

[SERIOUS TAG]

Not to lessen his death or the toxicity of this community but... This is the mirror, and not a credible source.

with that said:

"Still according to reports, it was apparently not the first time the schoolboy had taking part in the "choking game".

The dangerous practice is said to be a regular punishment among teenagers for those who lost in LoL matches.

Like what the hell is wrong with you kids these days? A regular punishment is passing out by choking yourself?

I feel like old person now, shaking my head in confusion.

Really? This is what they think teenagers are regularly doing?

ok that is sad and no one should takes ones life over bullying but it happens but the deeper question is people who dont have mental health issues dont randomly kill themselves

Riot what is this champion? Why would I ever play someone who uses 100% hp to cast spells?
