Permanent Bans Recently
Most people claim innocence, then a Rioter puts them on blast by saying they scripted or got boosted. From there, a slew of comments come in saying Riot is destroying their own game and throwing money away.
Bans = More $$
No bans = Less $$
The less people who are ruining games for other people, the more enjoyable the game is for everybody else. Which, if you don't already know, will make long time players of the game which equals more money.
The more people who are ruining games for other people, the less enjoyable the game is for everybody else. Which, would leave the game in a dismal state in which normal players (those without cheats/hacks/boosts) would not enjoy the game and switch to another. That means less money.
I do believe there needs to a list of specific programs, as there's been a lot of confusion with what's acceptable and what is not from different Rioters. Riot will always direct you to their page which still is vague. I'm not saying all bans are justifiable, but people who cheat are far easier to find than you would assume. If you play on 1 or 2 IP's regularly, then an IP from a different location starts playing your account and you go from Bronze to Platinum, pretty simple. But even at the in depth of an analysis, there's other core components and triggers Riot uses to find people who cheat, just like Private Investigators or Police do to catch criminals. If you don't want banned, then just play the game. If you're banned unjustly, then talk to them and clear it up.
