"Removes all disables and summoner spells affecting your champion and reduces the duration of all incoming disables by 65% for 3 seconds." I really can't think of a single logical use for this outside of the 1v1 feature. Before level 6 you can cleanse morg's Bind, but level 6 and after you're still bound by her delayed ult, it may not even be shortened for how long it takes to land.

It runs the same idea as Flash.

It's a get-out-of-jail card on a long CD.

But Flash's utility when compared is so much higher.

Cleanse also doesn't ensure you will live. That bit of CC just stopping you for a split second is all it takes to die.

It also has the Revive effect. While it's a powerful summoner, it could end up never getting used if you just avoid getting CC'd(dying in Revive's case). Having the potential of being never used is bad for a summoner.

Last, all suppression moves are countered with team work. All are over a duration and also CC the person using it. That's why Malz isn't crazy OP in every LCS game. A big part of what makes him powerful is his ulti. Anything past lanning phase he will feed all game in a pro match because they know how to teamwork.

Cleanse isn't weak because it doesn't remove everything. It's weak because it may never get used. It doesn't actually help you escape a lot of situations. And it's actually a weak combat summoner. Heal/Barrier will bring more benefits. Cleanse might make it so you can do 1 more AA in that 1.5s you were stunned. But Heal will keep you alive for the same thing while also providing a speed boost and you can use it on a second person for the same thing.

It should provide CC(excluding suppression) immunity for 1s(ranged) and 1.5-2s(melee). This would actually counter the dive happy CC crazed bot lane support meta we've had for a year and a half now.

This would also allow someone to predict CC and prevent it. And it would probably be a great summoner for other types of champions. ADC's are generally the only ones who even think of picking it up. Janna might not be such a massive peel master if that Renekton can now use this to get through her CC.
