How to post images. (Specifically images.)

I run into this a lot, every so often, someone doesn't know how to link images so they can be seen. It's not necessarily intuitive. http://media.lolusercontent.com/api/embedly/1/image/resize?url=https%3A%2F%2F41.media.tumblr.com%2F017a3ebb76280382ff7e0b5476a760ff%2Ftumblr_o5ukeisUaM1ujgo5ro9_r1_540.jpg&key=a45e967db0914c7fb472fd4381e6c85b&width=425

See the above picture? Here's how to do it. Take the image address: 'https://41.media.tumblr.com/017a3ebb76280382ff7e0b5476a760ff/tumblr_o5ukeisUaM1ujgo5ro9_r1_540.jpg' and remove the https:// and replace it with http%3A%2F%2F (or https%3A%2F%2F) Proceed to replace all '/' with '%2F' (all without the quotes.)

Then paste after this: 'http://media.lolusercontent.com/api/embedly/1/image/resize?url='

If you want to resize the picture, use the following format:

'&key=a45e967db0914c7fb472fd4381e6c85b&width=425'

I'm not sure what to do with the key, so I always leave it the same. It's the width that matters.

I'm actually not sure why, but simply posting the link, as follows: https://41.media.tumblr.com/cd3e6480f89dfafbae3d071c52822598/tumblr_o5ukeisUaM1ujgo5ro6_540.jpg Has been working for me. It usually doesn't.

what people don't seem to realize is that it is that they have to copy the image location(in firefox), not the link location
