State of Game Podcast Clear Indication
You have ruined this season Riot Games. This game is no longer fun. Now here we are halfway through the season and you still cannot get it right. You are aware of:
-
Shifting all power in items, kits, and masteries to AD and especially ADC. You are doing a "MAGE UPDATE" late May and you think that is going to accomplish something. From the looks of it nothing you are going to do is not going to be at the scope of the game breaking level you did with ADC. You are still leaving out a good amount of AP champions because you want to YET AGAIN go back and update AD and Assassins. Do you not know that AP champions are struggling now . . . especially against teamcomps that go ADC in every lane?
-
You made new items way to strong and updates to existing items way to strong. You implemented new masteries that benefit NO AP champions at all. I am mainly talking about the keynote masteries. ADC, AD, supports, and tanks all have specific keynote masteries that benefit them. Here we are four months into the season and you still have yet to give AP champions ONE decent keynote mastery.
-
You are making horrible updates to champions like Kogmaw, Xin, Graves, and many others . . . . and you let them sit int he game for two to three weeks before you nerf them. It seems your update and balance team cannot get anything right with updating. Let's also add the fact that they think Annie, Brand, and Vel need an update over Karma, Morde, Syndra, and other REALLY struggling AP champions. Stupid decisions by people that don't listen to player feedback.
Are you guys starting to notice a trend? They don't listen to playerfeedback and implement things into the game that no one asks for. The new keynote masteries, champion updates, new items and item changes all seem to benefit 50% of the champion pool and you leave the other 50% out high and dry. You don't nerf champions in a timely manner and you implement broken updated champions on to the live servers.
I am probably done with this ridiculous game. This has been by far the worst season you guys have done. The writers, champion concept team, and skin team are amazing and I really commend them. I really want to give this game another chance but it seems to be run by game developers that just don't care. The entire podcast seemed to be about how the game effects LCS and not what is good for the game.
I am also going to say this, there are fans of
and
who have been asking for months and years for you to update them . . . after you failed their reworks. There is also
who you forced into a lane and role that no on particularly asked for. You continue to ignore layer suggestions, kit ideas, and threads involving these characters. In the slim chance you do comment about them on Reddit, the only response we get is "we have no plans in the immediate future to update these champions." From that quote we can assume Karma is going to have to wait another 3 years for you to work on her, besides all of the failed number buffs you are giving her. Ryze is still going to be looked over because you cannot seem to get a kit right for him. Morde is going to be looked over because well . . . . you failed the recent rework with him and it's probably way to much work for you to give a crap about right now. Your Champ Up and Balance team comes off lazy, uncaring, and doesn't' rectify mistakes.
You lost this customer and I don't know if I am going to ever return. I have only stayed with this game this long because of your skin, writers, and champion concept team. Your Balance and Champ Up team don't seem to know what they are doing and take SOOOO LONG to finally do something. With the amount of money you guys make, can you not hire more people or a group of people that actually care? It doesn't look like it. I hope you guys learn from your mistakes and create a game that players can AGAIN enjoy. Right now LOL is a game that is unbalanced, broken and being run by lazy people. There are some really big highs with it but it seems to be run by people that don't give a crap. It comes off in the podcast as well.
