Why do I suddenly have such high ping if my true ping is 20? Is anyone else having this issue? I live in TX and my ping went from 100 to 40 when they moved servers but now it's back to levels that make the game unplayable.
I'm fairly tech savvy and I'm not downloading anything, nothing is updating, there is nothing that should be causing this on my end yet other players claim to not have this issue.
I've actually been having to deal with lag a lot recently too, as have others who mentioned it after I state mine. I've averaged 1k ping during some games and then am able to play perfectly fine the next game with a single sign of lag. Perhaps something is up with the servers?

If ur in the west coast of USA then ur fucked cus riot thought switching who got shitty ping was a good idea. Not that I disagree with what they did or anything even tho I am on the shitty end
West Coast: Before: less than 20ms after: above 60ms
East Coast: Before: 180+ms after: I think less than 20ms
Yeah, for the past couple days I've been having higher ping then normal as well. :/ It usually hovers around 60-80 after the server move but it's over 100 now and I'm getting noticeable latency.
