  1. Because stomping is fun from time to time.
  2. Because you really don't want to practice new champions vs players on your elo.

I personally practiced Riven on a smurf. But I couldn't get past Plat 5 so I dropped her. x)

So say someone who has a diamond account wants to play with a friend of theirs in silver in a ranked game.... do you suggest they just forget that notion and never make another account for the sole purpose of playing with a friend?

What if someone moved from Europe to North America but didn't want to transfer their accounts cause of their friends still back home, but still wanted to play on the closer servers for less lag? Do you suggest they just never do that and always have to put up with stupidly high ping just to avoid the ranking ladder to save you and other lowbies a single match you have to play against them?

Seems to me like you're being rather selfish about this.....

They can teach you why you lost just watch them beat you

It not about learning why you lost not just winning

I'm a smurf. I'm only smurfing to teach a friend the game. Low level play is notoriously toxic and my friend was debating on quitting. So I came down to teach him and quell some of the toxicity in his games. And I handicapped myself by playing the weakest role (support), on the weakest champions in the game and I named myself in such a way to make it obvious that I was a smurf.

I know smurf players aren't welcomed in most cases but I think that I am one of the good ones. I went down with good intentions and even if I got fed it's not like I was in a position to take objectives down. All I did was put my team in an easier situation so they could win the game for themselves. They still had to work for the win.

But not all smurf players are like me. Most come down just to smash mouth the new players just to make themselves feel good. And then they berate and taunt the new players too. Those are the ones who are making the game unhealthy.

I don't believe you guys. This poor guy makes a humble request for higher elo players not to bully his elo and you're all listing specific situations where a higher elo player might have a valid reason. He's not accusing anyone, he's not demanding, nor is he threatening anyone. He's just asking.

Let's face it though, in a community where people make accounts just to win more often in aram games, there are going to be a good portion of higher elo players who do it just for the self-satisfaction of stomping someone... for entirely selfish and malicious reasons. It's those people he's asking to simply pick on someone their own size.

Sometimes a toxic player will have his main account banned. He just makes a smurf and I'm not sure what Riot can do to stop him.
