Ranked honestly seems like 50% RNG, 45% skill, 5% team comp. Who ever gets lucky and has the teammates that do well wins. sure you don't do well every game but even when you go super hard and try to carry the unviable/feeding champions seem to bring you down hard core.

I play with my gf, who just reached level 30, so when I play with her we get placed with low bronze and honestly they all think they are so good.
