It's been exactly one year now since the release of Taliyah. It's her birthday today. She had many ups and downs. Many nerfs and some buffs. Taliyah is the reason I play league of legends today. The game itself really lost some important fun factors in the past, but playing Taliyah lets me forget about all of that. She might be weak against assassins and other champions that get close to her really fast, but her incredibly high utility and the ability to destroy squishies fast if you hit your W kinda make up for her vulnerability. I don't know if I would still play league of legends today, if it wasn't for Taliyah and that's why I'm grateful that you released her one year ago.

I too am really glad that Riot released Taliyah who is tied with akali for being my favourite champion in league of legends. She has one of the best voiceovers in league and has a balanced kit that really feels fun and interactive for the player. I actually found this post looking to see if anyone was going to make a post about Taliyah's birthday, glad I found one xD

I should have clicked on this earlier when I saw who posted this.

For me, Taliyah was to adorable not to want to play her. She got me in to lore, and she was my first actual main. I've moved on to an orange eating pirate, but she still holds a special place in my heart. Happy Birthday Taliyah, even if I was late

Her release day one year ago changed my entire playstyle in league.

Since Taliyah is a heavily team-based champ, playing her really got me into assisting my teams whenever I can instead of ignoring my teammates and care for whats best for me.

I honestly think that I have lost some skill playing her too much. Everything I do when playing her is repetitive, so much that I often do mistakes or predict my enemies moves wrong. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Playing Taliyah is so much fun that some mistakes are excuseable, especially because I know that I will make up for it later on.

I played gankplank a few days ago in aram and all I can say is that he is a lot of fun, but nothing beats Taliyah in terms of fun ;)

Exactly my case. I had abandoned the league indefinitely...for like a year.... and one day saw the taliyah spotlight and i liked what i saw. Tried here and here i am using her almost exclusively.

Im enjoying the game thanks to her. If not. i would have been a goner
