Just because I wanted to mix it up a bit and I was actually having fun.
I went from platinum 2 to platinum 4 in just 2 days, if I lose my next game I am going into plat 5. I am tired of playing carry roles my god I want to relax a little. Looks I'm back on the grinder.
Maybe you need a bit more practice at support before just jumping into the role on a whim. Its not immediately obvious how to play support and its not actually all that easy. I mean it certainly can be fun, making plays, clutch saving allies, A lot of supports are very reactive which is very rewarding skill wise.
I mean you might need to practice your skills beyond your mechanics, warding, map awarness, objective control, shot calling etc. Support is the ultimate test of your teamwork skills, you need to get them down.
You need to be able to quickly assess your teamates and predict thier behaviours as well as your opponents.
