Like, just play your best champ for the role available. I've beaten Caits as Vayne, etc. Sure, counter picks are still a thing with equal skill, obviously. But, I'd rather have a champ that you are really good with instead of you playing Zed, which you have 0 games with, because "you went ap top and we can't have ap".
Lmao, close to the beginning of the season I played a ranked game where I went Lissandra top as last pick and got raged at by someone claiming to a Plat 2 smurf. They said something along the lines of "Fuck this elo no one knows how to pick a tank, I can't carry this retard top," etc, before proceeding to lose bot lane and blaming it on our Sona.
This would be funny enough, but I ended up winning lane really hard after getting tower dove by their jg and top at level 3 and surviving with a double. As soon as I hit 6 I tp'd bot to give our whiny ADC a double (Vayne, of course, and she was 0/2 at this point) and we managed to turn the game around and win ^^
I always find that argument hilarious. Having AD top and Mid in a game can be problematic if there's a tank on the enemy team, but really only then, and you have
