Don't tell people what to play

They're likely to play worse on something you tell them to play than something they're used to playing or main.

For example, an ADC just told me in champ select that I should choose a "tanky AP jungler with lots of hard CC" but if you force me to when I don't know how to play any of those champions, I'm more likely to feed than I would be on a champion I'm comfortable with.

I wouldn't say anything, but it seems like every ADC lately is entitled to tell me what to play.

Bare in mind though, if we're an all AD team and you're last pick mid I will tell you to play AP. As long as you keep it simple, such as; tank, AP or AD it works out great. If you can't play but one type of champion though that shows lack of capability on your part.

I know that i have been on both sides of this and can agree with some of your points and disagree with others. I find that often times as the last pick a/o last few picks people say things like go ap jungler and stuff especially when people lock in zed mid and riven top and stuff. The issue is that if you do have a comfortable ap jungler its not an issue at all, however if you go on something like a "comfort pick" master yi when they have a rammus already locked in then you've basically thrown the game

Wait... what does that even mean? You may as well just tell someone exactly what champion to play if you're gonna be that specific...

"Hey, you should play an AD samurai midlaner with a knockup reliant ultimate, great mobility, a wall that blocks projectiles, and a thin skillshot!"

How about I play my shit and do well lol

I never tell people who to play but if we already have 3 ads with a support and you are last picking jungle (weird scenario but w/e) I would mention please go AP. I get people play their champs but it really pisses me off when we have 3 squishy ads with a sqiushy support and then someone goes like squishy ad top or squishy ad jungle. Like I get a lot of people are one trick ponies but I feel you need to have some common sense or skill to play a few champions.

Now... people will tell you exactly what champ to play top or mid for example vs the enemy. I don't agree because although xxx champ might "counter" the enemy if you go that champ just because its a "counter" and don't know how to play that champ you will probably end up doing poorly.

I get where you are coming from, and I personally never really say anything to people. Just saying.... sometimes people really would like players to go a certain type of champ and its frustrating when they go their one trick pony champ that does not help the team at all.

I have played enough ranked though where I have seen some weird comps where you think "yep... no way we win this one" and you end up crushing the enemy and other games where you think "damn no way we going to lose this look at our team!" and get rofl stomped. Usually its best not to say anything.
