Rek'sai came in december, and so far there's not the slightest hint of a new champ on PBE or reddit or anywhere :( sadneeess! And it was going so well with Gnar-Azir-Kalista-Rek'sai coming out so rapidly after each other :(

Inb4 the influx of 'WHO CARES ABOUT NEW CHAMPIONS WHEN RIOT CAN'T EVEN FIX THE ONES THEY ALREADY HAVE!'

But yeah. I'm getting antsy. Where's the hints of glory, Riot?! I want a new Demacian champion! The last one was forever ago.

They just come out whenever they're finished. Since there are different teams working on different champions sometimes you get releases in quicker successions than other times. Riot doesn't actually hold off releases of finished champions.

I think their expected rate now is about ~4-5 per year, so 2-3 months should be expected. When you add in remakes, etc. I think they're aiming for 1 per month, but I don't recall for certain.
