Honestly, FIX THE GODDAMN CHAT RESTRICTION SYSTEM

I personally like the idea of an restricted chat as a tool of reformation - much more than a time ban that mostly accomplishes nothing. But. The problem lies in the automatisation of this - and the fact that people STILL spam reports that are not even valid. Write "dude, I told you stop going solo... see? That cost us the game now..." in the endscreen chat? Suddenly get a warning that you have been reported for verbal abuse.

Write "Ugh, can't carry this..." in the end chat (after you really tried to carry), get reported by the two feeders for insulted, even if you didn't even speak to them directly.

And my favourite: Writer absolutely nothing ingame, write "gg wp" in the all chat at the end of the game, suddenly get a warning for "Verbal Abuse". It just doesn't make any sense.

I just came out of 75 chat restrict games - and really, I had better things to do that flaming in these. Now I enjoyed some rather normal going games... and now, I can't even remember a game where I have been "toxic" (because if I could I wouldn't have been surprised). But still I'm on 75 games of restriction AGAIN.

Either you need to stop peole spamming reports for no reason OR you work over the automated system. I can't have my chat restricted all hame for nothing. As a jungler, I NEED it. (Also i need all-chat as singed to taunt my enemies to focus me. Taunting. Not insults, keep that in mind! I have to say it works quite nicely ^^)

Also, I heard you can send the support a ticket somehow if you think you got wrongly a restrict or ban... can someone show me how?

Am I the only one that sees the irony in complaining about being chat banned while using profanity, all caps, and blasphemy in the complaint?

@kyoki, sorry, I don't mean this as a flame, I just thought it was funny.

To be fair that is pretty salty, but it's far from toxic or verbal abuse.

Very few people actually go into games thinking "I'm going to do everything I can to screw my team over". Most start out wanted to win.
If someone is struggling, odds are, they already know it. They don't need someone pointing out every flaw in their game play.
Getting outplayed, due to either a superior opponent, or unfamiliarity with a champion, is not intentionally feeding. Some games, no matter what you do, you just can't keep up and even hugging the turret won't help.

Keep in mind you're playing with a bunch of strangers with no facial expression, tone of voice, or body language to give context to sarcasm, humor, honesty, or other modifiers to comments. What you type might be intended to helpful advice, but is read as a sarcastic insult. There's something called "Self-control". You might want to think about excersing it.

Reports are in fact weighted for individuals. If someone actually spam reports, they count for less and less. If an individual is getting repeatedly reported, there's only one common thread there.

Punishments are not automated and not related to warnings. Warnings, as they pretty much state, just tell you you've been reported more than your personal trend. For an actual punishment, your chat has to be analysed and you have to be found guilty. The fact that it's not a human but a bot doing it, contrarily to popular belief, makes it more efficient, not less.

yep. you WILL be reported by little kids in this game. the funny things is these types of players will most likely say something to you first being totally scapegoaty and abusive. but then you say one thing back even if it's a valid point you get reported and the eventual allchat "report XXY they are troll racist feeding flame toxic player verbal abuse please make him stop he's hurting me"

There's no need to say what you said. "I tried, but it wasn't enough," would be fine and probably similar to what you were thinking. What you said heavily implies that the rest of the team needed to be carried by you because they were bad. Even if they were bad, there is no reason to say so. It is an insult.

Do you have some actual proof for your claims since pretty much everything we know so far and that Riot's said runs contrary to it.

. Multiple reprots per game don't matter, it's games reported that matter since 1 report per game is the same as 9 reports per game. It still only counts as 1 reported game.

. The chat scan system Riot's using is pretty smart and scans your chat logs for toxicity if you're reproted enough and in your case it's obvious you're guilty as charged.

. Riot does manual reviews in addition to the chat scan syste as well as audits of all bans/restrictions.

. You don't have any rights to flame people on here at all since this is Riot's game and they've made the rules of behavior clear. If you keep on getting punished it's because you decide to flame in chat not because someoe stranger said flame me. It's the old adage of 2 wrongs don't make a right that you were taught in kindergarten and you should've outgrown by 2nd grade.

.Reports spammers have no reproting weight since their reports are worthless and the system just throws them in the trash even if the report might've ben valid.

.Your arguments here show that the only one that can't handle the truth here is you. Riot's told you what they expect and what you can and can't do yet you can't control yourself and have to be a jerk.

.Also if you keep on getting pounished than perhaps it's not the system or the other players that's the problem but you and your interpretation and what's right and wrong. Perhaps you should change the behaviors that're causing you to get banned.

So you can either continue to rage and flame and keep getting punished to the point of a perma ban or change and keep your account.

Unfortunately you receive warnings for both valid and false reports. Warnings just mean you've been reported though, so if you haven't been toxic, don't worry about being chat restricted.
