Random Lux support build no one asked for but here.

You build this from and , as she's an offensive support champ this item allows her to get the most for her mana, giving her more mana, and also money for every hit on an enemy champ/structure. Overall a very useful item for her or any other poke type supports such as herself. Also, it's your warding item and that's just an eensy teensy tiny winy bit absolutely near mandatory for supports to have. The next item you want is this gives you both some mana, increased mana regain on level up and cdr it can also inflict grievous wounds which can be vital in a poke lane. Next up is , this is a GREAT item for a support based Lux, for two reasons, she has high as hell burst, which can be stored into the grail, then a shield, which will consume that burst to HEAL your allies instead of just shielding them, unleash you ult, heal your allies, a pretty great combo, in addition it has an additional 20% cdr so you don't need any more cdr items.
Past that we have the obvious item, very essential for all builds... da boots. Obviously, you're going to take Past this we're gonna get an unorthodox support item, that item is this, Now I know you're thinking what the hell why would I get that as support, the reason? Basically the same as Athene's but for yourself this time, while Athene's can heal allies, it can't heal you, making this a good item, which, when combined with your burst power, can turn a bad situation for your team, to a more balanced fight for all members, let's say everyone's wounded, you burst with this, healing yourself, this charges the grail so you can heal your allies as well. That's 5 items, so now for the last one, that's this, , it's definitely not as flashy, but it's a good item to have, when an enemy tries to close the gap, they'll be in abyss' range, adding to your teams escaping power, as long as you're willing to accept the risk.
