Yeah the toxicity in the community is contagious

And I've got to admit, I've given in probably because literally everyone else in this community is toxic too and you get too used to it. It's sick that I find myself looking at what I say in disappointment, cause I realize it wasn't this way back when I started. The community has gotten particularly malicious in the past 2 years and players come in being treated like trash so that it's a norm, instead of being punished and scolded. Even a lot of my friends realize that things were way different when we watch videos of Season 3 and 4 that we saved. They were better times when we supported learning the game and wanted to get better instead of making each other feel bad and terrible. All the little kids shifted over to the game and felt they needed to assert their prepubescent dominance and ruin the community for everyone else.

Look at yourself now and hopefully you don't see yourself like I do. Wish I could mute myself so that I don't have to talk back anymore and just go on the way things used to.

What used to be a pasttime to have fun with friends has now made me overall a worse person over the years.
