Probably just one of those "Hey, lets give the even more content to be excited about!" and Poppy just ended up taking the spotlight with the whole Ew -> Pretty change. I mean who would of expected that? And her new kit is so pretty and shiny and.....I forgot what champion are we talking about other than Poppy?

I want to know what would happen to Poppy and her quest if she met Illaoi and went through the test. I mean, if Poppy's going to be shown her truth, she might have trouble reconciling with the fact that she'd basically been going around the world for nothing for X years, dont'cha think?

I suspect that is the reason she was revealed late in the day after illaoi's release.

Illaoi IS cool, but Poppy has needed a rework for SO long. Twoish weeks of hype is nothing to compare with the months-years of waiting for Poppy to finally get a rework.

I feel bad for the champion released around the time Taric's rework comes out.

Makes me feel like what happened with Atrox and Lucian.

When Atrox was announced, Lucian was leaked (Under the title "The Gun Templar"). After Lucian was leaked, no one really cared about Atrox.

Yeah, it's was awful timing, really. :/ It's a shame because Illaoi is so much fun to play and is so important, ugh. It's like Aatrox, Lucian, Jinx bs all over again just more smashed together.
